Sunday Wine Class - Sparkling Wine

Sparkling Wine…because bubbles bring Joy to the World
Who doesn’t love bubbles?
Legend has it that the Benedictine friar Dom Perignon invented sparkling wines,

and called out to his brothers from the cellar:
“Come quick! For I have tasted the stars!”
But because French glass-making practices were so poor,
his sparkling wines became known as “le vin du diable”
because of how many bottles exploded seemingly spontaneously in the cellar.
But then, it turned out that it was actually an Englishman
who most likely invented sparklers.
Boooo! C’est terrible!
Though sparkling wines in the United States have come to be associated with the rituals of celebration,
you shouldn’t have to wait for special days to enjoy sparkling wines.
Come ball out and taste all the styles with us on a Sunday afternoon.
The specifics of the event:
-it will be a seated gathering, at communal tables

-6 wines will be enjoyed during the class + a welcome wine
-there will be a snack, because we  want your bellies to be happy
-there will be instruction and conversation...this is a class after all...
lasting roughly 60 minutes...
-there will not be a test at the finish of the class
We very much look forward to celebrating
the glory AND fun of sparkling wine with you.
