Sicily…the epicenter of the ancient & modern wine worlds
It ain’t all cannoli and Season 2 of White Lotus: 
Sicily is home to all kinds of delicious wines.
And some of them have been produced and appreciated on the island 
at least since the age of Spartacus. Kirk Douglas loved Sicilian wines. 
And so did Dalton Trumbo. 
They say Archimedes actually discovered the law of buoyancy 
when he dropped an empty bottle of Zibbibo in his bathtub. 
Sicily is home to dozens of indigenous varietals, 
and still others brought by the world powers who traded ownership of the island over millennia.
After sampling these island wines, you too will feel like Spartacus. 
Or maybe just Kirk Douglas.
The specifics of the event:
-it will be a seated gathering, at communal tables
-6 wines will be enjoyed during the class + a welcome wine
-there will be a snack, because we  want your bellies to be happy
-there will be instruction and conversation...this is a class after all...
lasting roughly 60 minutes...
-there will not be a test at the finish of the class
